Eleni focuses her practice on corporate and complex litigation in state and federal courts of Delaware. She regularly guides outside co-counsel on Court of Chancery rules and procedure, providing an efficient means toward moving cases to completion.
Eleni has experience representing companies, officers and directors in expedited and non-expedited matters, including contractual disputes, statutory matters arising under Delaware corporate and alternative entity laws, fiduciary duty litigation and derivative shareholder litigation. She also has experience representing clients in commercial and business tort disputes, with an emphasis on non-compete, trade secrets and unfair competition litigation.
Eleni is a 2020 graduate of Temple University, Beasley School of Law, where she dedicated extensive time at the legal clinic seeking justice for disadvantaged populations in the greater Philadelphia region. In 2015, Eleni graduated with honors from the University of Delaware with a B.A. in sociology, Spanish language/literature and Latin American studies. Prior to joining Wilks Law, Eleni was an associate at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP.
Eleni’s recent experience includes:
- Assisting a controlling stockholder in successfully obtaining equitable relief in connection with a proxy fight to rightfully vote his shares at an impending stockholder meeting.*
- Assisting a software company in successfully obtaining injunctive relief against a former employee in connection with the parties’ non-competition provision of an equity grant agreement.*
- Assisting a marine services company in successfully obtaining full monetary relief in its breach of warranty suit against a vessel manufacturer arising from the parties’ vessel construction agreement.*
- Successfully petitioning the Court of Chancery to compensate client for a six-figure sum of attorneys’ fees expended in defending opponents’ bad-faith conduct in connection with discovery disputes.*
